J’aime Paris

The City of Love, as we all know it to be. Yes, I am aware I am late on writing this post since it was supposed to continue after London, but I honestly didn’t think it would take me this long to get back into my groove after pregnancy. And well, the pregnancy post was a must for me! Now, back to beautiful Paris. I went around this time last year and I fell in love with the architecture. Never in a million years did I think I would see the Eiffel Tower- I had to actually stare at it for a while to make sure I was actually there LOL. So many beautiful cafés on every corner, and so...

Magnolia

This trip has definitely been on the top of my destinations list for a while! I love Chip and Joanna not only for their amazing work but for what they represent as a family! My family and I have been watching their show for as long as I can remember, so when I saw that they bought the Silos and then the diner I knew I had to put it in my travel bucket list. My husband and I like to give each other traditional gifts for our anniversaries, and for our 3rd anniversary, he gifted me a tote bag with leather handles from Joanna’s Magnolia Collection at Target. Just in case you didn’t know, the traditional 3rd-anniversary gift is...

London Calling!

London has always been on my To-Do List, so I was super excited when my husband and I decided to go! We went in late October and it was extremely cold, so I would recommend going in September when Kat went unless you really really like the cold weather LOL! We had a blast during the trip, even though it was during the time that my all day “morning sickness” started #FoundOutRightBeforeTheTrip LOL. One thing to keep in mind that we discovered in London is that because they do daylight savings as well, we had to get up really early to sight-see because it would get dark by 4:00 – 4:30 PM because of the time change. London is also...

New Year! New Habit!

Kats posted about goals last week so I wanted my post this week to tie in with hers. After all, it is a new year and it’s generally the time we all start making positive changes in our lives. My sister-in-law was talking to me last week about a psychology class she took recently, and one of the projects her class had to do was to stop a bad habit for a week. In the past, I have done personal projects like this one, but I wanted to share a little bit about our conversation with you guys, hoping it will inspire you to try this challenge as well! :)  I was intrigued by this topic because it reminded me of...

#ImmerseOrlando

I had the opportunity to attend Immerse Orlando with my husband this year and let me tell you it was awesome! Art came to life this day! I love all art related things, so I really like the fact that Orlando is getting more involved in art and making a huge impact on this beautiful city. Corkcicle was one of the main sponsors of this amazing event and the "Worlds of CORKCICLE" was amazing!! Each room had its own theme where you can be part of the art itself. Don't forget to follow @creativecityproject on social media for all upcoming events and information. Ohh and of course, don't forget to support your city, local events and businesses, because the more you support the more dreams come true, a better...

Happy Halloween!

Hello, my pretties!! Welcome to October, one of the most fun months (in my opinion LOL). I love dressing up and being creative during this month! I like to do activities where my whole family, even the kids, can be involved. So of course, I did a Not-So-Spooky Halloween table setting with easy and fun food that both kids and adults can enjoy. Halloween music or a Halloween movie in the background will also definitely help set the mood. I bought everything at the one and only Target LOL. Hope this inspires you to have an awesome Halloween. Oooh and don’t forget to dress up, that’s what makes it fun lol. Happy Halloween Everyone!  XOXO ...

Japan Part II

And so we continue with my Japan journey! Just a reminder that traveling enriches the mind. I always like to encourage others to travel, anywhere around the world. You'll gain an experience of a lifetime that will be unforgettable. #letstraveltheWORLD  PART II: Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka, My layover at the Great Wall of China
Day 9 HIROSHIMA  This was a must for my husband, and I'm so glad we went. This city was destroyed by an atomic bomb during World War II.  Now it represents "Longing for Peace". The A-bomb dome is a symbol of humanity's longing for a world free from nuclear weapons.
MIYAJIMA Miyajima is a small island in Hiroshima Bay. It's popular for the...

Japan Part I

Japan is like no other!! It has been by far the favorite trip that my husband and I have taken. Every single city, town, etc. that we went to was completely different and brought its own kind of fun. Tokyo was amazing, I felt like a little girl at a theme park. With animated characters that even the older generation seem to be a part of. You literally get all the modern and all the ancient Japan in one trip. Kyoto is known for more formal traditions. You see more of the old culture of Japan; which was amazing as well. Japan has been one of my longest trips which is why I have to divide this trip into two posts. There is so much to see...

Dreaming of Cinque Terre

I'm two weeks away from embarking on a new Euro-trip adventure, and while reminiscing on my last year travels, I found some pictures of my Cinque Terre visit- a hidden gem located at the Italian Riviera which I was lucky enough to experience :)  I was able to cruise through Cinque Terre and stop at its 5 seaside villages - Riomaggiore, Manarola,Vernazza, Monteresso and Corniglia- my favorite was Manarola; it is the  smallest and oldest town, but the most iconic in my opinion. these little town had so much character and the breathtaking views stole my heart. We took a similar tour from this one with the same tour company, and it was wonderful. We met them at the Florence train station...

Rainy Day Plan

If you live in Orlando, FL, you may have noticed that the weather this summer has been a little crazy. It’s been raining all day every day! Some days are bright and sunny and out of nowhere it starts pouring! A few weeks ago,  I was getting ready for a picnic with my sister and nephews and as we were about to leave it started raining. This did not stop us and we decided to lay everything out in my living room, so it still had that picnic feel to it. This turned out even better because we got a picnic and movie date all in one! Plus we got air conditioner lol, and let’s be real, I didn’t think...
