When planning my Euro trip this year, I knew I had to include London as one of my first stops. It was one of those places that some people love and some people hate, so I wanted to discover what this big city was all about and get my own opinion. This vacation was different than any other because due to workload, I wasn’t able to plan as much as I usually do (remember I’m the #planningqueen), but this ended up giving me a new perspective on traveling by allowing me to go with the flow, and just enjoy instead of following an strict itinerary. I only had 3 days and I feel I wasn’t able to explore as much as I would have liked to.However, It was enough for me to fall in love with this city, and to put it on my list of places that I would like to visit again, and be able to live the real culture. Nats will also be visiting London soon- after I told her all the good things about my experience!
Few Cities in the world manage to have amazing history while also having a booming modern culture as London does. With iconic landmarks from thousand of years ago, and different areas ranging from ultra-cool to expensive to up-and-coming, and a long-ranging royal history, I feel London is one of those cities that always has something new to discover.
