J’aime Paris

The City of Love, as we all know it to be. Yes, I am aware I am late on writing this post since it was supposed to continue after London, but I honestly didn’t think it would take me this long to get back into my groove after pregnancy. And well, the pregnancy post was a must for me! Now, back to beautiful Paris. I went around this time last year and I fell in love with the architecture. Never in a million years did I think I would see the Eiffel Tower- I had to actually stare at it for a while to make sure I was actually there LOL. So many beautiful cafés on every corner, and so...

My Amalfi Coast Experience

Visiting the Amalfi Coast was definitely on my bucket list, and when I started to think about where to go on my next vacation, I knew it had to be there. This was my second time in Italy and I'm sure that I will keep adding this country to my vacations as many times as I can! Every place we visited was so picturesque and full of charm. The colorful houses carved into the cliffsides were so dreamy and every town had its own magic to the point I don't think I would be able to pick one as my favorite. I was a little bit confused when I started planning this trip because of the many options and opinions that...

This trip has definitely been on the top of my destinations list for a while! I love Chip and Joanna not only for their amazing work but for what they represent as a family! My family and I have been watching their show for as long as I can remember, so when I saw that they bought the Silos and then the diner I knew I had to put it in my travel bucket list. My husband and I like to give each other traditional gifts for our anniversaries, and for our 3rd anniversary, he gifted me a tote bag with leather handles from Joanna’s Magnolia Collection at Target. Just in case you didn’t know, the traditional 3rd-anniversary gift is...

London Calling!

London has always been on my To-Do List, so I was super excited when my husband and I decided to go! We went in late October and it was extremely cold, so I would recommend going in September when Kat went unless you really really like the cold weather LOL! We had a blast during the trip, even though it was during the time that my all day “morning sickness” started #FoundOutRightBeforeTheTrip LOL. One thing to keep in mind that we discovered in London is that because they do daylight savings as well, we had to get up really early to sight-see because it would get dark by 4:00 – 4:30 PM because of the time change. London is also...

When planning my Euro trip this year, I knew I had to include London as one of my first stops. It was one of those places that some people love and some people hate, so I wanted to discover what this big city was all about and get my own opinion. This vacation was different than any other because due to workload, I wasn't able to plan as much as I usually do (remember I'm the #planningqueen), but this ended up giving me a new perspective on traveling by allowing me to go with the flow, and just enjoy instead of following an strict itinerary. I only had 3 days and I feel I wasn't able to explore as much...

Japan Part II

And so we continue with my Japan journey! Just a reminder that traveling enriches the mind. I always like to encourage others to travel, anywhere around the world. You'll gain an experience of a lifetime that will be unforgettable. #letstraveltheWORLD  PART II: Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka, My layover at the Great Wall of China
Day 9 HIROSHIMA  This was a must for my husband, and I'm so glad we went. This city was destroyed by an atomic bomb during World War II.  Now it represents "Longing for Peace". The A-bomb dome is a symbol of humanity's longing for a world free from nuclear weapons.
MIYAJIMA Miyajima is a small island in Hiroshima Bay. It's popular for the...

Japan Part I

Japan is like no other!! It has been by far the favorite trip that my husband and I have taken. Every single city, town, etc. that we went to was completely different and brought its own kind of fun. Tokyo was amazing, I felt like a little girl at a theme park. With animated characters that even the older generation seem to be a part of. You literally get all the modern and all the ancient Japan in one trip. Kyoto is known for more formal traditions. You see more of the old culture of Japan; which was amazing as well. Japan has been one of my longest trips which is why I have to divide this trip into two posts. There is so much to see...

Dreaming of Cinque Terre

I'm two weeks away from embarking on a new Euro-trip adventure, and while reminiscing on my last year travels, I found some pictures of my Cinque Terre visit- a hidden gem located at the Italian Riviera which I was lucky enough to experience :)  I was able to cruise through Cinque Terre and stop at its 5 seaside villages - Riomaggiore, Manarola,Vernazza, Monteresso and Corniglia- my favorite was Manarola; it is the  smallest and oldest town, but the most iconic in my opinion. these little town had so much character and the breathtaking views stole my heart. We took a similar tour from this one with the same tour company, and it was wonderful. We met them at the Florence train station...

NY state of mind

If there’s a city I can never seem to get enough of is NYC. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve been there, I always discover something different every time I visit.  I used to travel there every year, but somehow last time I was there, I didn’t have the best experience. However, I knew I had to be back and be able to fall back in love with this concrete paradise. Nats was born in Queens and she loves the city as much as I do! So, it was very exciting to wrap up my B-day week traveling to NY with her.  We knew we wanted to have a chill trip with no rush and open to making new memories....
